Respiratory protection
Take a deep breath!
Anyone who is exposed to fine dust, hazardous chemicals, bacteria or viruses at work should always wear respiratory protection. Fine dust masks are made of multi-layered non-woven fabric and have a filter that only allows particles that pose no health risk to pass through. As well as dust, they also keep even the tiniest droplets away from the wearer. However, the longer a mask is worn, the greater the breathing resistance becomes. This is because the trapped pollutants gradually accumulate in the material. If the wearer notices that breathing under the mask is becoming more difficult, they should replace it with a new one. This is the only way to guarantee continuous protection. Anyone who has to wear a fine-particle mask every day can opt for masks with a valve for greater comfort. The breathing resistance is significantly lower with these, and they help prevent heat build-up under the mask.
