Shoe care
Every step counts!
If you want to get plenty of wear out of your safety shoes, make sure you look after them properly. This starts with regular airing and drying. Precisely because safety shoes are designed to absorb a lot of moisture, they need time to let it out again. To air them out, remove the insoles and loosen the laces. You should also ensure that the shoes are regularly cleaned of dirt, as this can reduce their breathability. Coarse dirt is removed most quickly with a brush, whilst more stubborn dirt requires special foams and shampoos. If the latter are used, it is essential to re-waterproof the safety shoes afterwards. Foams and shampoos open up the fibres of the shoes – waterproofing seals them again.
