Orthopedic Insoles for Your Safety Shoes – by GetSteps
Custom-made from your footprint. Handcrafted in Germany.
Your safety shoe only provides reliable protection when the inserted insole does not compromise its protective function. Together with our premium partner GetSteps, we offer you individually crafted orthopedic insoles that are precisely tailored to your foot and your safety shoe model.
Why safety shoes require special insoles
An insole is not automatically suitable for use in safety shoes. To preserve protective functions such as the clearance to the toe cap or the insulation and conductivity properties, an insole must be tested and certified together with the shoe. If an untested insole is used instead, the certification of your safety shoe may become void – and with it your statutory accident insurance coverage.
The safety shoe insoles from GetSteps are manufactured in accordance with DGUV Rule 112-191 and the relevant EU directives, and are type-tested for numerous common safety shoe models. During the ordering process, you specify your exact shoe model – GetSteps then manufactures your insole in the approved version, including antistatic, antibacterial and abrasion-resistant cover material in the respectively prescribed, standardized thickness.
