Become an ATLAS guard-of-honour child at the next DHB international match!

ATLAS and the DHB are making handball dreams come true: become part of the team as a guard-of-honour child (aged 8–12) and experience your stars up close!

A dream for young handball players is coming true: ATLAS and the German Handball Federation (DHB) are giving children aged 8 to 12 the chance to get closer to the stars of the German national teams than ever before.

Forming a guard of honour and high-fiving the players – right at the edge of the court.

When the German national handball teams enter the arena before an international match, a truly spine-tingling experience awaits: a youth team from a local club forms a guard of honour right at the edge of the pitch. The players run through the line of children – and high-five them before the match begins.

Here’s how to take part:

  •  One club team is selected for each international match.
  •  Between 12 and 16 children aged between 8 and 12 can take part.
  •  The team takes centre stage as the national teams make their entrance.

The proximity to the national players, the huge crowd in the hall and the feeling of being part of the team – all this makes the initiative by ATLAS and the DHB unique. This highlight is guaranteed to stay in the children’s memories for a long time to come.
