We’re currently giving away 2 tickets for the main stand for the BVB season opener on 15 August 2026. Borussia Dortmund will host top Italian club AS Roma for their traditional season opener. Roma finished last season in third place in Serie A, thereby securing their place in the UEFA Champions League.
As part of the season opener, not only will the first-team squad for the 2026/27 season be presented, but the BVB Women’s squad will also be welcomed and celebrated on the pitch.
The clash against AS Roma carries particular significance, as the BVB squad features three Italian players – Samuele Inacio, Luca Reggiani and Filippo Mane – who will now face a club from their home country. There will also be a reunion with a familiar face: former Borussia player Donyell Malen returns to Strobelallee wearing the AS Roma shirt.
